Larger 20-inch wheels and a hands-free liftgate are optional with a Convenience package. The Palisade has LED lights, alloy wheels, and heated mirrors to start. The Calligraphy trim offers 20-inch wheels and unique exterior trim accents. The Limited trim at the top has 19-inch wheels and enhanced LED headlights. LED taillights and a hands-free tailgate are available through packages. It adds roof rails starting with the second trim level, along with heated side mirrors. The base trim of the Hyundai Santa Fe has LED lights and 18-inch wheels made of alloy. The Santa Fe tows 3,500 pounds, and the Palisade tows 5,000 pounds. All trims have front-wheel drive, but you have the option of getting all-wheel drive instead. This model has an eight-speed transmission. It produces 291 HP in power and up to 262 LB-FT in torque. A 3.8L engine with six cylinders drives the Palisade. The 2021 Hyundai Palisade has one standard engine for all trims. The two top trims have a turbo 2.5L engine with four cylinders capable of 277 HP and 311 LB-FT in torque. This engine will produce 182 LB-FT in torque, and it uses an eight-speed automatic transmission. The base engine for the Santa Fe is a 2.5L with a power output of 191 HP. However, all-wheel drive is available on most trim levels except for the new Calligraphy, which has all-wheel drive standard across the board. Most trim levels of the Hyundai Santa Fe have front-wheel drive as their standard drivetrain.
